The film was directed, co-written, and produced by series creator Stephen Hillenburg, with live-action sequences directed by Mark Osborne. But probably more people would want Spongebob to return more than Invader Zim, because it was a more popular show.The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie is a 2004 American live-action/animated adventure comedy film based on the Nickelodeon animated television series SpongeBob SquarePants. So yeah a lot of people probably would want Spongebob back like Invader Zim. Than people would all sad, and would say they want Spongebob back, because people Absolutely loved it back then. But after Sponge Out of Water, Spongebob has been back! And to be honest, if Spongebob did end in 2004. I think it went downhill when Season 6 started. I wouldn't say it went downhill after the Movie, I honestly really like Season 4 of Spongebob and Season 5 was pretty good too. Overall, I think this movie is really good, and it's still one of my favorite Animated Movies! It's funny, sad, and just great! People think Spongebob should've ended after the movie, because a lot of people say it went downhill after that. But Hey, at least Hillenburg is back! Overall I it's a good story! Oh yeah, Nickelodeon kept Spongebob going. I think this was a terrific Ending to Spongebob. It's Absolutely hilarious! The story is really weird, but they make it work. So yeah, I thought this was a very entertaining movie. Krabs saved, Plankton going to jail, and Spongebob becoming the Manager of the Krusty Krab 2. It ends with Neptune getting his crown back, Mr. So they get back to the Bikini Bottom, and they have a battle with Plankton, and obviously Spongebob defeats Plankton. Which is one of the weirdest scenes in the movie, but also one of the funniest scenes. They eventually get the crown, and they get back to the Bikini Bottom from the help of David Hasselhoff. On their way they go through a lot of tough guys, monsters, a Hitman, and a Cyclops(who is really just a scuba diver).
So Spongebob and Patrick go on a quest to find Neptune's Crown to save Mr. And if doesn't return in 6 days, then Mr. Krab, but Spongebob tells him to stop, and makes a deal with Neptune that he'll go to Shell City, and get the crown back. Krabs, and the Crown is now in Shell City. Well it was just Neptune and Mindy in the room while that happen, so it isn't a huge problem.
I don't know, I was just a bit surprised that that worked, but it did. So Plankton can't steal the Krabby Patty Formula, but he easily stole Neptune's Crown that was highly guarded. The plot of this movie is seriously one of the weirdest plots I've heard of, and I've never expect that to be a plot for Spongebob, but it is, and it surprisingly works.
